Finally, some good news from Bláfjöll😊

We will be opening the beginner lifts and magic carpets this weekend. The ski rental, food service, and ski and snowboard school will also be open. NOTE that we will be open from 10:30-17 both days due to ski training earlier in the morning.

This is the first time that the initial opening is only for the beginner area, so we’re a bit uncertain about how busy it will be this weekend. If it gets too crowded, we kindly ask people to limit their stay to a maximum of 2 hours.

The forecast shows excellent conditions in the mountain this weekend, both for outdoor activities and snow production. Hopefully, we’ll be able to open the chairlifts next week.

Everyone needs an access card for the beginner lifts. Children 5 years and younger don’t pay for access but still need a hard card with credit. This can be arranged in the lodge. Everyone else must pay. Children 6-17 years pay 1,420 kr for a day pass and less for hourly passes, while adults pay 1,830 kr for a day pass to beginner lifts (hourly passes not available). Season passes are of course valid for beginner lifts as well.

It’s time to come to the mountain and enjoy… hopefully, the ski and snowboard season has now begun.
