Status in Bláfjöll January 26, 2026.

This winter has been quite unusual so far. Neither have there been sufficiently good conditions, at least not for long enough, to produce snow, and there has been no significant precipitation all winter since the heavy snowfall at the end of October.

But let’s stay optimistic. We’ve often seen poor starts that end up turning into excellent winter seasons.
